My Christmas Journey into Wales
2010 AD.

More snow than ever this year and colder too, minus 15 in some parts overnight.

As with other years I drove through the night to arrive at dawn.

The early sun over Lake Vyrnwy

This was the state of the road I had to contend with

Could be anywhere really, but it is just past the Rhos y Gwaliau turn off.

It's that Tower again

A slippery road to Pennant Melangel

Not much to say about this, it is white!

That isn't a lake it is mist.

"On that high mountain clothed with Awe"

Snowdon looms above a frozen lake

It begins to look all the same after a while, taken from Traeth Mawr

Well it's a bit different.

Don't forget Dollgellau Farmers Market THIS SUNDAY :)

A rather gloomy Menai Bridge

And even more gloomy Menai Straits, Nelson looks all at sea down there.

Porthmadog, hiding under a rock.

Harlech Castle on top of one.

Somewhere or other near Barmouth

Because it was there.

The photographer , no chance of paddling in the Lake today :(

The Summers pictures don't miss them!
