| My Christmas Journey into Wales
2013 AD. Worst weather yet and I am getting
too old for this lark, once again I spun of a snowy road
in my "Chelsea Tractor" but then where would
the adventure be if I were never beset by a few mishaps
| Dawn over Lake Vyrnwy |
| It's that tower again, getting
into the frame as ever |
| Early morning mist |
| This is what it is really like,
all signposts, telegraph poles, pylons and roadmarkings |
| So the photographer has to make it
look more dramatic |
| Or focus on the texture of rocks |
| Curvy roads help of course |
| But these are the roads I like
best |
| Nantcol, yet another of Wales'
hidden valleys |
| The mobile phone has not reached
this far yet |
| The not so quiet waters by |
| Harlech! |
| The Carnedds have a winter coat on |
| Llyn Ogwen again |
| No excuses for another picture
from Nant Ffrancon |
| This pretty much sums up what it
is like at this time of year |
| Not so much the sea as a sea of
cloud |
| It's a mountain, get over it. |
| When you've seen one you've seen 'em
all, |
| Yes it's all very gloomy and
overbearing |
| Head of Nant Ffrancon with a
stategically placed rock (did I put that there
deliberately?) |
| The photographer gets in the
picture as always |
| Last years pictures |
