Some of my pre 2000 pictures

I like the way some Welsh roads just cling to the mountainside.

These pictures show the Bylch y Groes just beyond Lake Vrnwy   

 

And this is the Rhos y Gwaliau on the other side 

However the damp weather often stands in the way of more spectacular pictures, you are sometimes lucky to see the other side of the valley at all

Sometimes the sun shines

  And you can get quite spectacular pictures
I wish I had not chosen to use 400 ASA film though, which I mostly took along for the expected dull weather

  Telegraph wires are a perennial nuisance, sneaking into the pictures :(

A decent photographer would choose a better viewpoint.

A dishonest one would photoshop the wires out ! 

  A combination of soft focus due to camera shake on the long lens, and too much grain, I've seen better

 

My Christmas pictures don't miss them !
